The centrepiece is our beautifully restored Georgian Manor House, which sleeps up to 16 guests and features elegant reception rooms, open fires, antique furnishings, and sweeping views of the river and forest beyond.
Surrounded by 110 acres of organic farmland & woodland, the estate provides endless photo opportunities and serene spots for outdoor ceremonies — such as garden gatherings beside our 15th-century castle.
The estate is completely exclusive-use, meaning your celebration is entirely private. Whether you envision a relaxed garden party, a candlelit dinner in our ballroom, or a full weekend of festivities with close family and friends, the space is yours to shape.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of the most special weddings we’ve ever hosted was our owners wedding in 2023. They got married in the local church and had a wonderful reception, here at Dripsey Castle Estate, surrounded by close family, wildflowers, music and laughter filled the air. It was intimate, personal, and filled with love — exactly the kind of experience we now love creating for other couples. Hosting their wedding here reminded us just how magical this place truly is.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay true to you. It’s so easy to get caught up in trends or other people’s expectations, but the most memorable weddings are the ones that reflect who you are as a couple. Focus on what matters most to you both — whether that’s an intimate dinner, a favourite song, or simply time to slow down and be present. The magic is in the meaning.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of my favourite personal touches was a couple who wrote handwritten letters to each of their guests, placed at each seat. It was such a heartfelt gesture — there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. It reminded everyone why they were there: to celebrate love, connection, and the people who matter most. It’s those thoughtful, genuine moments that make a wedding unforgettable.

Asian style beef in a filo cup! One bite of heaven.

Warm, homemade chocolate brownies served with scoops of local vanilla bean ice cream.. Incredible!

We have the most amazing glass art installation on the 2nd floor by renowned artist Eoin Turner
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our most unique feature is the breathtaking glass art installation on the second floor, created by renowned Irish artist Eoin Turner. Suspended above the landing space, this unique piece is inspired by the movement of water and the natural beauty surrounding the estate. As sunlight filters through, it casts ever-changing patterns of colour and light throughout the space — a truly magical sight that stops guests in their tracks. It’s more than art; it’s an experience that captures the essence of Dripsey Castle Estate — creative, soulful, and deeply connected to nature.
