We cater for just one wedding per day, ensuring that we provide you with the attention to detail that you deserve. Your dedicated wedding co-ordinator will tailor make a package suited to your individual taste and budget, making sure that your exacting needs are met. The hotel is licensed to host civil ceremonies in 3 different locations; The Rathmore Suite, The Terrace and The Lawn.
Our Head Chef and his culinary team have designed your Wedding Menu Selector packed full of delectable delights! Using only the finest locally sourced seasonal ingredients, each dish is prepared with authenticity, passion and pride. Your Wedding Team and Head Chef will take you through the options to help you choose the perfect menu for your big day. And if your favourite dishes aren't on the menus provided... do ask! We would be happy to discuss alternative choices.
Your guests who plan to overnight will avail of special rates which also include full use of our leisure centre and Technogym... or they may decide to treat themselves to a treatment in our luxury spa.

Thank you so much for everything you did for our big day. We were blown away with how perfect everything was. The wedding team and all the staff were absolutley amazing. The food, the reception, everything was just fab. We had a lot of kids attending the wedding and the hotel was the perfect location. The kids were able to run around outside. During the meal the balcony was perfect for them to run free and with easy visibility for the adults to watch them. The blacony was also perfect for the bit of fresh air when your bate from all the dancing. All our guests dietary needs were met so easily. Literally everything we asked the staff to do for our big day was met. We got lovely pictures on the grounds of the hotel and at Charles Fort. Nothing was too much to ask. If ye decide to have the beef for the main course, it's worth paying the extra few sure for the feather blade. The minute we went to view the hotel, we got all the feels for the place straight away. Everything exceeded our expectations. The wedding co ordinator, hotel management and staff were exceptional. They really listened to us and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. We where able to have good chats and a laugh with them. Karolina, Ronan and John were always on hand and kept things on track. The hotel has a stunning setting, we wanted a Christmas wedding and the venue pulled out all the stops for us. The decor for the weekend was magical. We got plenty of lovely photos on site and managed to get to Kinsale for a few photos as its only down the road. The food was first class and the whole experience for the dinner was amazing, the chef came out to check on us which was a nice touch. For our wedding we wanted somewhere where our guests could stay on site. There was plenty of rooms for our guests to stay without having to find other accommodation. We had the ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner and evening party all in one place without any traveling. We had loads of music during the day and the hotel were so accommodating working with all the suppliers involved. They were happy to personalise things for us and advise us on what could be done. The team at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure our day was special and stress-free. They were very personable and really made it a relaxed atmosphere. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day unforgettable! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Gosh... so many to choose from! I love when couples make a little holiday of it... with friends and extended family staying a few ideas and enjoying Kinsale. A recent couple booked the Kinsale Harbour Cruise for a private sundown cruise the evening before their wedding, and the all stayed on for rounds of Golf and Spa treatments the next day!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
To liaise very closely with your wedding planner. We're here to advise and know what works for your taste and budget. And we have lots of local contacts to so can advise on preferred suppliers. Use that to full advantage!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A recent wedding had quite a few younger guests, so arranged for a clown/ magician to entertain them during the dinner and take them on a little ramble in the grounds during the speeches! They had great fun!

The Rathmore Suite has a beautifully curved glass wall, making the most of the panoramic views over the bay - it really does take your breath away when you enter the room!
