The main entrance, an imposing stone arch, opens onto a row of oak pillars that put the monumental fireplace into perspective.
The warm clarity of the floor tiles harmonizes with the woody browns of the roof frame.
In the center of this immense room, a large Murano glass chandelier (signed Venini), a true aerial fairyland, diffuses its soft light echoing that of the wall lights along the walls and pillars.
Comfortably seated at tables, up to 300 people can sit in this room.
In addition to the standard amenities adapted to each and every guest, a fully equipped adjoining office has been fitted out to allow caterers easy and practical service.
Finally, depending on the season, you can access the outdoors at your leisure: the fully enclosed park and its shaded vaults, adjoining the Monastic Barn, will offer freshness and enchantment to all your guests.

The place is magical, cut off from the world with a superb park overlooking the castle - in which we organized a secular ceremony. The room is optimal, also magnificent with warm lighting given by a Murano glass chandelier and which was previously in the Angouleme theater. The kitchen is also perfectly equipped and will make any caterer happy. The owners were flexible...We got married at the Domaine des Ombrais and we couldn't have dreamed of anything better. A little clarification: this is the first place we visited at the time, and from memory we had made our choice in the few days following the visit. The place is sublime, the main room really has a soul, and even the outbuildings are charming. The reception room, located in the old monastic barn, decorated with its chandelier is simply magnificent. Our guests are still talking about it! But this estate contains many other wonders, a wooded park at the foot of the castle where our cocktail party took place, a gîte, a dormitory, a second small room and a huge space to pitch the tent if necessary. Everything you need to organize a dream wedding! The managers of the estate are welcoming, very available and very understanding. Thank you for your help. I can only recommend this magnificent and charming place! This estate was an obvious choice for us when we visited.
