The Heights Ski and Country Club is an hour's drive north of Toronto, a stunning property on 102 acres in Oro-Medonte Township. The venue features a distinctive family atmosphere, lovely grounds and an expert event team to support your wedding planning.

Ceremony and Reception at The Height Ski
The hillside of the venue is a picture-perfect ceremony location. The venue provides white folding chairs, a signing table, white linen, and power. On extremely hot days, guests can enjoy a water station on the ceremony site. If inclement weather is expected the inside ceremony location is a beautiful alternative, right in front of the grand wooden fireplace.
Receptions at the Height Ski are organized in the Main Room (Dinner) and Pub area (Cocktail Reception), equipped with the following:
- Full-service bar
- Various tables, both long banquets or rounds
- White linens, flatware, and glassware
- Wooden chairs
- Staging for head table
- Dancefloor
The venue welcomes third-party decoration and can help you set everything up before the reception starts.
Wedding Meal at The Heights Ski
Generally, all weddings at the Heights Ski feature a delectable meal, which consists of:
- Hors d’oeuvres
- 3-course meal (appetizer, entrée and dessert) or buffet
- Late-night food station
The menu is diverse and customizable, so the team can accommodate your special requests.
Bar service is available as a host consumption bar, cash bar, and ticket option, providing different levels of spending control. Include a prosecco toast after the ceremony, add alcoholic and non-alcoholic punch and upgrade the beverage list for a fee.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We hosted an intimate wedding for 10ppl due to government Covid restrictions at the time. It was one of the best weddings I've ever been involved with. The couple took everyone to a hilltop location (only accessible because of smaller guest count) and exchanged hand written vows with their fur babies present, and all of their most cherished family members. Dinner was served surrounding a large king style table and because it was small they could afford extra courses and upgraded wines. The couple were completely engaged in each other the entire night and so in love.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Understand that everything may not go as planned and to enjoy your day without letting little hiccups get to you. Relax, Breath and leave everything up to the professionals that you have hired to take care of you. The day will be over in no time, take it all in and make sure to spend it with your new spouse and not on either end of the room with different guests.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I really love hearing a couples personalized vows and when they include any existing children in the ceremony
