The John M.S. Lecky UBC Boathouse provides a stunning on-water setting for your wedding day. A fully floating venue with an expansive dock space and an event hall featuring floor to ceiling glass walls, the mountain and river views cannot be escaped. Wedding Rehearsals Lead by your officiant, gather with your wedding party and family to rehearse the finer details of your ceremony. Rehearsals booked during regular operating hours are complimentary and are booked for a maximum of one hour. Rehearsals may be tentatively booked 60 days prior to the wedding date however, they are not confirmed until 2 weeks prior. Please note that regular operating hours are subject to change. Preferred Vendors We develop our preferred vendor list based entirely on reviews from UBC Boathouse guests. These vendors know the venue well, with a range in style and price point to customize your wedding event. When choosing one of our preferred caterers to oversee your food service, the $1000 galley fee is waived. Rental Rates The UBC Boathouse event philosophy is based on the belief that planning wedding with us should be a seamless and enjoyable process.
