Woolmers Estate Receptions: Modern Meets Rustic 

Weddings at Woolmers Estate take place year-round in such a gorgeous natural and country setting. Receptions are hosted in elegant gallery spaces, such as The Mary Francis Gallery overlooking the Rose Garden. Or, pick a Long gallery with a distinctive interior. There is also an outdoor function area with a bar, ideal for post-reception drinks.

The Woolmers Estate takes pride in its rich heritage and beautiful surroundings, and its sophisticated reception spaces with modern amenities. Up to 200 guests are a maximum for a wedding at Woolmers Estate.

This versatile space is excellent for standing or seated events, casual and formal affairs and gala dinners.

For the reception, choose between:

The canape menu by the Woolmers Estate includes 10 or 12 canapes per person for a cocktail-style event offering delicious bite-sized items, such as:

• Slow-cooked duck with spicy plum
• Prosciutto-wrapped quail stuffed with fresh fig
• Miniature Yorkshire pudding
• Polenta muffins
• Spinach and feta filo canape
• Wild mushroom and Tasmanian truffle arancini
• Sweet canapes, such as scones with local jam, mini chocolate brioche, lemon curd pavlova

The Feast wedding menu includes three canapes for each guest upon arrival, two protein choices and four side dishes. For the main, expect dishes such as Tasmanian swimmer crab, orange and fennel chicken, slow-cooked lamb, island eye fillet and more. Side options are lemon and cauliflower and gruyere gratin, crispy potatoes roasted in duck fat and iceberg salad.
