Overnewton Castle Receptions

Overnewton Castle was built by William Taylor in 1849-1859 as an elegant family homestead with a Scottish Baronial style. Even in those early days Overnewton Castle was a place to entertain. Today Overnewton Castle has been operating as a family owned and managed reception centre for over 30 years, priding its self on personal and professional service with attention to every detail to create the perfect Wedding Day. The Dining room over looks our beautiful English gardens which provides a lovely setting for a garden ceremony or pre dinner drinks. The chapel creates a more formal atmosphere for your ceremony with original carved oak panels shipped out from Scotland in the 1850's. Overnewton Castle is an ideal setting for an elegant wedding catering from 70 and up to 150 guests sit down and 240 for cocktail celebrations.
