• ML Joubert Hall: This air-conditioned hall comfortably hosts up to 180 guests, or 150 if you want a dedicated dance floor. Its neutral design lets you customize the décor to match your style.
• Outdoor Ceremony Spots: Choose from beautiful locations like the dam’s edge or the lush Manor House lawn for your ceremony. The surrounding gardens are ideal for pre-drinks and canapés, creating a relaxed and scenic atmosphere.

Catering and Services

Skilpadvlei’s culinary team crafts a customizable three-course menu using fresh, local ingredients to delight your guests. You can opt for a buffet service for any size group, or a plated meal for weddings with 100 guests or fewer. Feel free to bring your own wedding cake, and enjoy your own champagne for pre-drinks with no corkage fee.

The standard wedding package covers everything you need: venue use, waiters, bartenders, tables, white linens, napkins, cutlery, crockery, and glassware. Plus, there’s a generator on-site to keep the party going without a hitch. Best of all, there’s no separate venue hire fee, making your planning simpler and more transparent.

Accommodation for You and Your Guests

Hosting your wedding at Skilpadvlei means your closest family and friends can stay close by. The estate offers 7 self-catering cottages that sleep up to 30 guests, plus 11 charming bed-and-breakfast rooms in the Manor House accommodating an additional 22 guests. It’s convenience and comfort all in one beautiful location.
