Other favorites include a lush meadow with sweeping mountain views or beneath the shade of an ancient oak tree. For your reception, you can style the rustic banquet hall or an elegant marquee in the meadow to perfectly match your theme. The ceremony, pre-drinks & reception are generally hosted in 3 separate but distinct areas of the reserve.
Exclusive & Private On-Site Accommodation for Your Guests
One of the biggest perks here is the extensive self-catering accommodation right on the reserve all within walking distance, so your guests can fully relax and enjoy the weekend. Additional onsite accommodation can be arranged with our service providers offering boutique glamping in furnished bell tents setup on our meadow. The reserve comfortably sleeps 60 to 100 guests across several charming options:
- Farmhouse Erika: A spacious & rambling 8-bedroom farmhouse with fire pits, outdoor areas, a large patio & several braai / BBQ areas, all ideal for large families or groups of friends.
- Exclusive Cottages: Nightjar, Hadeda, and Oak cottages offer luxury touches like outdoor wood-fired hot tubs and air-conditioning, each sleeping 2 to 4 guests.
- Standard Lodge Units: Pine, Fig and Quince Cottages each accommodate 2-4 guests in comfort, with double volume ceilings & all fully equipped for self-catering.
- Boutique Africamps Glamping Tents: Stylish and cozy options that blend comfort with nature, indoor fireplaces, air-condition, mountains views with large decks & wood-fired hot tubs.

- Guest Capacity: Host up to 120+ guests comfortably without extra equipment, with options for much larger events if additional items are hired in.
- Venue Hire Includes: Exclusive use of the reserve, all on-site accommodation, furniture, standard décor, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Vendor Freedom: We have a detailed list of preferred wedding service providers all of whom have previously offered superb services to our previous couples, alternatively choose your own caterers, florists, and other suppliers—there are no restrictions. The venue isn’t licensed, so you can bring your own beverages with no corkage fees.
