Wedding Locations:
CHAPEL
An atmosphere of quiet and calm pervades the unadorned interior space of the impressive BOSJES chapel.
The design by Steyn Studio of London was inspired by Scripture, Psalm 36:7. From the inside, glass walls offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains, valleys and gardens.
GARDENS
The landscaped gardens are full of surprises and hide informal play areas, a garden café and a shop.
Various flora creates a tapestry of contrasts – succulents, Renosterveld, indigenous forest and water plants, punctuated by a monolithic water sculpture.
The Boombrug canopy walk and a vertical labyrinth reward both the meditating wanderer and adventurous young hikers.
An elevated labyrinth extends the meditative atmosphere and visitors will relish the view presented at the end of an easy walk to the top.
KOMBUIS
KOMBUIS, THE AFRIKAANS WORD FOR “KITCHEN”, REFLECTS THE HISTORY AND CULINARY TRADITIONS OF THE FARM. A SEASONAL MENU AWAITS THE VISITOR.
The modern design of high ceilings, glass walls and a deck for al fresco dining takes full advantage of the surrounding vistas.
A blue-and-white Delft-inspired mural of the BOSJES Tree of Life, depicting local fauna and flora, decorates one tall exterior wall. Cape Town artists Michael Chandler and Lucie de Moyencourt designed and installed the artwork comprising 366 tiles.
