What is your most memorable wedding?
I think this may have to be Sophie and Stu's wedding day! Stu didn't want to wear a wedding ring because he wasn't able to wear one in his job and was worried about losing it if he kept taking it on and off. However, on the day, Stu surprised Soph with a ring and Soph cried, it was so sweet! This isn't the reason why it's so memorable though! For me, the best bit came a few moments later when the poor Vicar dropped the surprise ring twice! It was so funny and I loved it because it's those kind of moments that aren't planned that make a wedding film so valuable.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

What about your business are you most proud of?
Winning the Guides for Brides Award for videography 3 years running in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and of course being awarded Bridebook Videographer of the Year 2018! We are so grateful to our amazing couples for giving incredible reviews and for all the support we have received over the years. Thank you.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Consider the timings of the day carefully and make priorities for things that are most important to you. For example, do you want to spend as much time with your guests as possible? Are photographs most important to you? Do you want to have incredible food and allow lots of time for eating? Once the day arrives, it will fly by so make sure you enjoy it and plan it your way. If any aspect of the timings concerns you then ask your venue or other suppliers. We would be happy to help!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Ellie and Eric had half pint beer glasses with their initials engraved on them as wedding favours. It was brilliant as they had free beer on tap which guests could help themselves to and then take the glass home at the end of the night.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once I've received your enquiry via Bridebook I will reply and let you know if I'm available and suggest a chat where I'd love to hear all about your plans, why videography is important to you and I can answer any questions you may have. From there I will send a quote via my online management system and accompanying terms of service to help make your decision.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
Love Actually. I love how all the individual storylines are woven together and it's a Christmas RomCom, feel good favourite!
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Music is so personal so I don't have one go-to track for everyone. Instead, I always ask each couple for their favourite music that they might like for the full length film. That way they are happy when they watch it back. The music really makes our films and it's so important to us to time it correctly.
The music for the highlights needs licensing in a different way to the full length film so there is a different choice but we always discuss what music would work best with each couple.
Describe how you got into videography.
After spending 3 years at university studying Geography but doing student television in my spare time, a passion for video production was well and truly engrained in me!
After filming my friend's wedding as their wedding present; I realised what's so important to me - doing something that matters which people are grateful for and doing something I care about. Hearing how happy my friend's were after watching their film gave me more satisfaction and inspiration than ever before!
Thus Veiled Productions was born!
