What is your most memorable wedding?
I filmed a stunning wedding at the natural history museum in London. But all my weddings have been beautiful and unique in their own way!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Unique, stunning, bespoke, quirky, memorable.
What about your business are you most proud of?
The time and care I personally put into the whole day and the editing after! I go through the day remembering that this is a once in a life time day that most likely the bride and groom will miss a lot of with being in such an incredible, emotional state. I want them to feel like that everytime they watch their big day back, but even more because they are able to relive the moments that they were unable to see on the day. The guests dancing, the venue before and after, the sun, the snow, the bride & grooms room before they unite. My editing expertise allows me to shoot how I KNOW I can make a relivable moment through video. Thats a unique quality to have in my eyes. The fact that I love doing it and get excited every time also makes for a great video.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't forget the Videographer!! Photography is a MUST, but the videographer catches the movement of the day! The whole journey caught on motion picture! You'll never physically relive that day! The videographer helps make that happen forever.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are so many different personal touches. I can't actually put a finger on one thing. I do like a good flash mob dance routine though.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Contact via zoom two or three times before the wedding. Get the exact times of each part of the day a list of names to keep and eye on throughout the day for candid and group shots, I will often visit the venue before hand for my own planning of which I will do a general description outline for the bride and groom. And then we meet early on the day and i try to stay visible but invisible. We will generally always then discuss the shots and edits after the big day in the editing process until the final edits are uploaded and sent.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
The speeches are always a great show, but often the evening dancing provides a lot of entertainment for me.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
The Note book and that all famous run, jump, kiss!
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
I make sure that I choose music that provides the right rising dynamic of the emotion of the day. So this changes a for every wedding.
Describe how you got into videography.
I actually started in the music industry, filming large and small music videos for different famous and up coming artists. This might be where my eye for a storyline and ideas come in to play.
