What about your business are you most proud of?
I love that we are able to do this as a family, with two children and jobs of our own it is difficult to spend time together as "us". Therefore, being a husband and wife team in the most beautiful of settings and experiences is so special to us. We love being able to share someones special day and create memories for them to look back on.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Prioritise communication with your videographer. Beyond the logistics, share the stories, moments, and people most significant to you. This ensures the final film not only captures the event, but truly tells the story of your unique love and the moments you cherish most.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We love the personal touches couples put into their wedding day, you can see the time and effort (usually by the women, sorry lads, its true!) spent in making sure everything is perfect. It is all about making the wedding about you, with your own personality, however quirky that may be.
We had a couple have names of fish as their table names and little favours because they met on a dating site, plenty of fish, this had to be explained in the speeches, as they didn't want extended family and friends to think they were just keen anglers.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Communication is key, we will send a questionnaire with contact details and addresses for the big day including some important details. Within 6 weeks of your wedding we then arrange a zoom call, as by now most things are organised (not always), so we can get a feel of how you would like your day to run and what you want us to capture.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
One of our brides suprised their newly wed groom to a honeymoon in America, this was great for us to capture his genuine reaction when he opened his gift. When you get true emotion on film, we struggle to hold back the tears too, (my wife gets very emotional)!
