I must say that the one that stands out was both beautiful and sad. The wedding of a young bride who was quite unwell. The day was filled with all the joy and happiness that weddings have and it was a joy to film. Three weeks later I was informed of her passing and was given a card written by the bride before her passing thanking me for the memories I had made of her for her husband and family and it included a photograph of myself with the bride and groom taken on the day of the wedding. Such a happy/bittersweet wedding. One I will never forget.
Cinematic, Emotional, Authentic, Romantic, Uplifting.
Do not view Videography as a last addition of suppliers. Realise that when your day is over the ONLY way to relive the moments you cherish, the moments you missed, relatives passed and the speeches spoken is through your Videographer.
Whether we met at a wedding fayre or simply via email or telephone, I would arrange a meeting to chat about your wedding plans. Videographers are the BEST wedding planners afterall! A relaxed chat, coffee/tea, with lots of laughter over common interests, is the best way to ensure that you feel at ease with your choice of videographer. I will be readily available for you anytime in the run-up to your wedding, so you can contact me with any updates and/or changes to your day's schedule.
The most exciting thing I've caught on camera was the slight movement of my doggies paw. Rosie, my lovely Collie, suffered a spinal accident that left her paralysed from her neck down. I often nurtured her paw pads with an electric toothbrush, to stimulate the nerves, and one day she twitched her paw and I caught it on camera. The tell-tale sign of a hopeful recovery. Since then she's made an excellent recovery with the help of Hydro & Physiotherapy. That twitching paw though...best footage ever!
From a very young age, all I have ever wanted to do was film. My entire life's training has been based around learning every skill to become a professionally qualified videographer.
After completing my first Degree, BA(Hons) Creative Film-making in 2007, I worked for a worldwide broadcast production company, producing works for branded clients such as Fashion TV, Caprice, UNESCO & UK NHS. During this time, I gained so much positive client feedback for my work that I decided to create my own videography business. From that pivotal moment in 2010, I haven't looked back.
Since then, I have attained a second degree, 'First-Class' BSc (Hons), in Film-Technology, worked with many household names on projects for corporate clients, filmed hundreds of weddings & also acheived multiple awards for my work within the wedding industry.
