What is your most memorable wedding?
I was filming the first dance and a famous Charity Guy called Speedo Mick come in doing cartwheels across the floor in a very small pair of blue speedos and a swimming cap.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative, Exciting, Practical, Modern and Beautiful
What about your business are you most proud of?
I started the company as I worked in the hotel business and seen the errors others made, the cost of a wedding is silly I wanted to change that, I'm affordable but also professional.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't worry about the day, everything will go to plan... Enjoy it, dance and watch it back again and again.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
This isn’t so much a personal touch, but it is different and I saw it on the show “Four Weddings”.. The one bride had all married couples dancing to a slow song and the DJ would say, “anyone married less than 5 years please exit the dance floor”, then they would continue dancing.. “anyone married less than 10 years please exit the dance floor”, then continued dancing until there was one couple left.
I think the couple that was left was married 50+ years and the bride ended up giving her bouquet to them. I thought that was a very sweet way of seeing how happy the older married couple was to be noticed in that way.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I am easy, I provide highlights of the full day, I will work with the couple to see what they want. once you have booked, I will send you the process of are next interactions and keep you informed of any changes. On the day you can relax I won't be in your face, I will be in the background capturing every perfect moment.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
I always seem to capture the old couple having the time of their life on the dance floor, I'm not married yet but I always say to myself I want to be just like them.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
I personally would say The Grand Budapest Hotel, I am huge fan of Wes Anderson but my Girlfriend always says my style is something of the Great Gatsby Movie
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
There is a company called the Piano Guys and they do a lovely cover of Perfect.
Describe how you got into videography.
I worked with the BBC and Channel Four for a while after Graduating as a Locations Expert and Film Safety, I have always filmed what I liked from a young age but with both the career and the experience I started shooting for Live events. I finally found my love for weddings from 'as mentioned above' seeing the cost people paid and wanting to do it all for a affordable rate.
