What is your most memorable wedding?
Our second ever wedding was for Queen Camilla's son, Tom Parker Bowles - we had better access than the BBC!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
This is a cheat (more than 5 adjectives), but a photographer once described us as "epic observers of people" - we're always looking for the little moments that tell your story. And we try not to take ourselves too seriously!
What about your business are you most proud of?
The feedback we get is always really nice. As well as being there on the day itself we also spend hours and hours on the edit, so when customers see the finished product and they tell you how happy they are, it really means a lot! Likewise, when you know someone was really nervous beforehand and a little camera-shy, to have them say they felt really at ease with us and happy with the results gives us a massive amount of satisfaction.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember that it's YOUR day, have a wedding that reflects you as individuals.
Also, remember that the day will fly by in a blur; make sure you get a photographer and filmmakers that you trust and who's work you love. That way you'll be able to re-live it all over and over again, and enjoy any little moments you missed on the day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
It's too hard to pick a favourite! We always keep our eye out - and our camera ready - for the little moments that make a wedding unique to the couple though!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We generally send a few emails back and forth to chat with the couple and find out what they're looking for and answer any questions they might have etc. Once we've worked out a price for the film that they want, we'll send over a booking form and get a deposit to reserve the date for them.
Sometimes we'll pop over for a cup of tea to chat in person, or we can schedule a video call so you can put a face to the name. Sometimes we film pre-wedding interviews where the couple will talk about how they met, how the proposal went, and where they see themselves in 10 years time - things like that which will be a great little time capsule to look back on in years to come.
We'll also get your schedule for the day (so we know what time everything is happening) and the contact info for someone in your wedding party who can be our liaison (to let us know if the schedule changes on the day!).
If required we'll come along to see the venue beforehand but that's usually not necessary. On the day we arrive with enough time to say hello again and meet your bridesmaids/groomsmen and the venue staff etc, and after that you'll probably barely notice us.
After the day itself, we'll get stuck into editing the footage. We will send you links to the extended videos when they go online. Then we'll send you a link to the highlights video when that's ready. Not long after this you'll receive the USBs in the post, with all your videos on. Stylish, eco-friendly USB sticks are included as standard in our prices and there's the option to upgrade to a beautiful personalised USB package - ask us about this if you want to know more!
Describe how you got into videography.
I've always been interested in telling stories using whatever medium I have to hand - going all the way back to making stop motion films with my childhood toys and a Super8 cine camera. Shooting and editing a wedding is like telling the story of one of the most important days in somebody's life, I love it. - Adam
