FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Have done so many weddings over the last few years, especially during 2017-2018 and they're all memorable in their own ways , but probably the wedding of Roddy and Pauline, two of the sweetest people imaginable , who found love later in life. On their wedding day, they were 87 and 76!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Chilled, Detailed, Candid, Creative, Freestyle

What about your business are you most proud of?

So many things as we don't just do weddings. Getting shown on Sky TV was a highlight, as was getting featured in a couple of the UK newspapers, Music video shown on VH1, being chosen as linkedIN event photographer, Watching video we'd done for sussex on the big Screen at Sussex Cricket Ground, was also pretty cool.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Hmmm... try not to be too stressed out. You could ruin what would be a perfectly good day, by stressing too much , and putting yourself and everyone else on edge.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Christ, that's a difficult one . Having to think about this

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Usually I like to talk to a couple, or at the very minimum the bride , and go through everything that is being planned. Get a sense of what the personalities involved are like, and see if we're on the same page . I'm a people person anyway, so I like to get to know the person, because on the day, we could be spending upwards of 12 hours with them. When it's photography I like to get a list of the people I have to photograph on the official photographs , in good time ahead of the wedding . Generally speaking an online ' Early bird' wedding gallery is uploaded between 7-10 days of the wedding, and the couple are given a 4 digit pin code to download the photos. Wedding films take longer obviously, because there is a lot more work needed to be done on the editing side of things .

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

Every shoot is exciting and they're all different .

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?

HAHA... oh my.. there are so many , but I'm going to go slightly cheesy with this one and say ' Grease' . It's such a feel good movie and don't tell anyone , but I'm a bit of a romantic on the quiet.

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

I don't have one particular favourite. Obviously over the past few years Ed Sheehan has been played as a lot of couple's first dance song, and I've even done a Marryoke Video featuring one, but I think that has even done to death now. I prefer looking at each wedding as a separate entity and deciding based upon the setting, and the overall vibe of the day, which track to use to best reflect the day.

Describe how you got into videography.

I started filming using Cine films , and splicing tape , which was quite fun but then I switched over to video when it came to my music videos . From there got more and more into editing on Macs and it's just gone from there really .
