What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
We have a list of our best tips here http://www.yourweddingfilmed.co.uk/blog/files/secret-wedding-tips.html
Plan in a 10 minute section in your day to be alone and just take a break, this will help you digest and enjoy your day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We believe personalising your wedding is key to making it unique. We use this to craft a film bespoke to yourself. We have seen some fantastic Disney crafted centrepieces, by my favourite was from Roshan a groom hand-made a sculpture of the couples initials over many weeks, which was placed outside the reception.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We like to have an extensive chat with all our couples before they commit to the booking. This is to make sure they are 100% happy on what we are going to deliver, our experience also helps tweet and plan many other aspects of their day. Contact is then made a week ahead of the wedding to make sure everything is on track and put their mind at rest about our attendance. We try to get any soundtracks and music before the wedding day as to not holdup the editing process. The final film will then be delivered typically 2 weeks after the couple arrive back from honeymoon.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
Many magical surprise proposals. Last year we were involved in a flash-mob proposal in central London, which went superbly!
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
Titanic. - just because!
Describe how you got into videography.
Picked up a VHS camera at the age of 8 and filmed ducks on a pond. My father had just taken up his passion of videography and bought his first camcorder.
