What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I was filming a Wedding at Penshurst Place in Kent, It had got to the evening dancing and we were sticking around for a bit and all of a sudden the groom grabbed a guitar and starter singing a rendition of Ed Sheeran to his lovely bride. It was sooooo wow!!!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The process would begin from first contact over the phone or via our contact form. We would then hope to meet the couple personally to discuss all the details of the special day and get to know each other, after all we are going to be a big part of the day :)
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
It has to be a groom grabbing a guitar and of the cuff singing to his bride. :)
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
Just watched La La Land and absolutely love the choreography and singing throughout, it must of been so much fun to work on.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Obviously you have to be careful with copyright but there are so many covers out there and one of my favourites has to be Boyce Avenue
Describe how you got into videography.
Myself and wife were in Kalmar in Sweden in 2012 to attend a couple of our friends wedding, When we arrived at the church the Photographer was there but the Videographer had not shown up, I went and spoke to the Groom and said if they did not arrive i would film the ceremony for them on the Sony camera i had.
They didn't arrive so i proceeded to capture the ceremony but also the rest of the day to, at least the best i could anyway :) When i arrived home i really enjoyed putting it together for them and when i sent it back to Sweden on a couple of DVD's and Bluray's. They were so happy.
To this day that has to be my proudest moment and the epiphany that started Serenity.
