I really want to make you cry. Revel and Echo is all about personality-filled wedding films that make you laugh and cry!
I’ve spent my adult life around weddings (check out my wedding band Franco!) and so I feel very much at home in this world. I’m obsessed with storytelling, and with the detail of editing, because those are the tools I can use to make something that really represents your day.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

Why should we hire you?

Well, this isn’t actually a frequently asked question, but it’s worth answering anyway. And the answer is that you should only do that if you love my work and we agree on what makes a great wedding film!

For me, it’s capturing not just the epic romantic stuff, but also the funny stuff and the poignant stuff on the day. I love finding a wee bit of the uniqueness every time, and baking that into the style of the film. I think that’s a great way of making sure you want to watch again and again. If you watch some examples of my work, hopefully you can get a glimpse of the characters at the weddings, beyond just the couples - I think that stuff is priceless!

How do you choose the music for our film?

I’ll ask you for some info on your favourite styles of music, and I’ll tailor the music to your general tastes. I use Musicbed for all the music, and the licenses for the songs are included in your fee.

We don't like posing for the camera, can you help?

You’re in the overwhelming majority! Not to worry - my style is completely relaxed and unobtrusive. Before there’s a camera anywhere near you, we’ll have had a few chats and emails to get to know each other. And on the day, I’ll be like a (hilarious, charming) fly on the wall, documenting the day candidly. However, if you are game for playing around and having fun with the camera, then I’m certainly here for that too!

What time will you arrive?

I’ll be there 2 hours before your ceremony to catch all the prep and fly the drone.

How many videographers will be there?

Typically I shoot weddings on my own, though on some shoots I’ll have another shooter working with me as a very discreet assistant. There’s an option with the packages to add on a second shooter if you’d like the extra coverage!

Do you travel outside of Aberdeenshire?

Yes. While I’m based near Aberdeen, I regularly film weddings across Aberdeenshire, the North East of Scotland, and beyond.
