Describe your typical process with a couple.
Typically I will ask the couple for an order of service up front and ask if there are any special requests that the couple would like in terms of filming opportunities. I aim to capture everything but these conversations are always useful to have in order stay on the same page. Otherwise I like to let the day unfold as organically as possible to keep it's authenticity intact. That being said, there will be times that I may request a specific set up to acquire a certain shot. This allows for the narrative of the day to be shaped in a more cinematic way and will give it a more polished aesthetic. These moments are situational and are never overly planned and usually brief. This gives the couple the freedom they need to enjoy their day to the fullest. Conversely I am more than happy to meet the requirements of any suggestions put forth by the couple on the day.

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
American Beauty - Not only is the film a masterclass in film making from a technical and cinematography stance but it is also a stunning examination of the human condition in its most heart breaking and nuanced form. It's a timeless masterpiece in my opinion and should be revered as one of the best films in cinematic history.
Describe how you got into videography.
I've always been obsessed with the magic of cinema and have made films ever since studying media at college. Offering my enthusiasm and skills for capturing weddings seemed like a perfect fit and an obvious venture to pursue.
