FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Hah! That's like choosing a favourite child! Everyone is equally important to me as it is the couples' ONLY wedding day.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

faithful documentary professional

What about your business are you most proud of?

The relationship I have with the couples, from initial enquiry to delivery of the final movie.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Relax and enjoy the day. Leave me to capture a priceless record for you to enjoy for years to come.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The couple's son recording a message for mum and dad on the day, that they'll see for the first time when premiering their movie.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once booked, I would arrange a meeting with the couple around one month before the big day. We would meet over coffee (at my expense!) to discuss the timetable and any special requests the couple may have. After the day, I would keep in touch with the couple to let them know that I have started the edit (often sending them screen-grabs of the video) and giving them regular progress reports on the edit.

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

A bride saying to her new husband, "I'm so happy, I'm so happy" while dancing together at the reception. Brought a tear to my eye.

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?

Heat. Such an outstanding movie with a superb cast, a wealth of human interest stories, and a 1st class street shoot out after a failed bank robbery.

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

The track chosen by the couple is their choice and not mine. If they love it, then I'll love it too.

Describe how you got into videography.

From the age of 11, I got a Super 8 cine camera for Christmas. This sparked my love for the moving image and making films.
