Probably one from last year. We ended up becoming friends with the bride and groom. She asked us to stay for shots (not the video kind). We ended up meeting after the wedding for a night out!!!
Quirky, Fun, Documentary, Chilled, Cinematic
When our couples say nice things like 'they were the bridesmaid/groomsman we didn't know we needed'.
Don't panic, and don't forget your towel. (if you get that reference, we can definitely be friends)
One where their friend had been ordained as a minister. He led the ceremony with some amazing personal stories! It was so funny, our faces hurt from laughing!
So, once they've sent us a booking form back and paid a deposit to 'save the date', we leave the couple to it (planning a wedding is stressful enough). A few weeks before the big day, we'll get in touch and organise a coffee/pint/Zoom call, and get to know each other/ go through plans. On the day, we're not jut there as video guys, we've delivered signs, rings, even children to the ceremony. They've planned this day for years, we're here to help it run as smoothly as possible!
Fire breathers! They were so cool!
Jurassic Park coz dinosaurs!
Personally, I like something quite upbeat and HYPE HYPE. But we always sit down with the couple before the big day and talk about music preferences
I wanted to make films ever since I was a kid. I remember making cameras out of shoe boxes. I told one of my teachers 'one day I'm gonna be on the credits of a film' - she laughed at me. I made my first film when I was 13 on VHS (yeah I'm that old) and I'm now 36 and a full time filmmaker
