My Process: From First Chat to Final Film
Every love story is unique, and I believe your wedding film should reflect that. Here’s how I typically work with couples to ensure a smooth, relaxed experience and a final film you’ll truly love:
1. Initial Consultation
We start with a friendly chat — either in person, over the phone, or via video call. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, discuss your wedding plans, and see if we’re a good fit. I’ll answer any questions you have and walk you through what to expect.
2. Booking & Planning
Once you decide to go ahead, I’ll send over a simple booking agreement and deposit details to secure your date. We’ll stay in touch throughout your planning journey - I’m always happy to offer guidance on timelines, lighting, or anything that might help make your day go smoothly on camera.
3. Pre-Wedding Catch-Up
A few weeks before the big day, we’ll have another check-in to finalise the schedule, talk through any must-have moments or special touches, and confirm all the details. This helps me arrive fully prepared and ensures I capture what matters most to you.
4. The Wedding Day
On the day, I’ll be there from start to finish (depending on your package), filming discreetly and naturally as the story of your day unfolds. I aim to be a calm, reassuring presence — blending into the background while capturing all the real, emotional, and beautiful moments.
5. Editing & Delivery
After the wedding, I carefully craft your film with professional editing, music, colour grading, and storytelling at the heart. What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
The Lord of the Rings - for its epic scale, emotional depth, and timeless storytelling. It’s a perfect blend of cinematic beauty and human connection, which is exactly what I aim to bring into my own work. While I’m not filming in Middle-earth, I still strive to capture that same sense of magic and meaning in every wedding I film.

Describe how you got into videography.
My love for storytelling started with movies. Growing up, I was fascinated by the way films could move people — how music, visuals, and emotion could all come together to create something truly powerful. That passion led me to study a BA in Digital Film Production, where I honed my skills in cinematography, editing, and sound.
After university, I worked on several film sets, specialising in sound — an experience that taught me the importance of capturing both visuals and audio with precision and care. But I soon realised I wanted to create work that was more personal, more direct, and more emotionally connected to real people.
That’s when I started my own business as a videographer. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to produce cinematic content for a range of clients — from T20 Cricket and Amazon Prime, to working with the renowned dancer Dane Bates. These experiences shaped my style: natural, emotive, and cinematic.
Today, I bring all of that experience and passion into wedding videography — capturing real love stories with the same care, creativity, and attention to detail.
