Mike Savory Wedding Films

We have worked with Mike Savory many times at Hockwold Hall, who has always filmed stunning wedding videos of the Hall and our couples. It is always a pleasure to work with Mike Savory.

As soon as we picked our wedding date I knew straight away I wanted a videographer to capture the whole experience of the day and wanted something special to look back on in years to come. Having been let down, Mike stepped up to the mark and boy did we get lucky. It’s true what they say, not all hero’s wear capes. Mike is the perfect person for this. He has a big heart, great smile and makes you feel so relaxed through the whole day, you don’t even know he is there. When we got a notification to say the film was ready, I couldn’t wait. We both watched it and of course I cried! My husband was so pleased too. Mike had captured the whole day and it was amazing to see each other getting ready, seeing parts of the day you couldn’t even remember. A wedding day fly’s past in a flash and Mike has made our memories last forever in the most incredible way. I will always say a videographer is a must, we can relive our special forever. Thank you Mike for our wonderful film and encapsulating our memories so perfectly. When Shaun and I decided to get married during the precarious time of the pandemic there were many times of uncertainty, but one thing that was certain was having Mike Savory as our wedding videographer. We had two wedding celebrations, one in homage of my Bengali culture and the second to reflect both our British culture with Shaun’s Irish and Italian heritage. Mike was able to capture the sentiments of both wedding ceremonies and the magic was brought to screen. At a time when we could not have many guests, we are grateful that we can share our memories with loved ones with the incredible videography. We would highly recommend Mike if you are looking for someone with talent in capturing those special moments, and making your wedding a love story made in Hollywood or Bollywood. Additionally we admire Mike not only for his craft but his kindness. He has a sunny disposition which provides good and positive energy for the whole day(s)!

I can’t quite put into words how amazing Mike is!! From our first Skype call with him up until the end of our wedding day and beyond - he was so great at putting us at ease and it felt like we’ve always known him!! When first planning our wedding, we agreed on what was most important to us and capturing our day was really important and Mike was the best decision we made!! At first we weren’t sure whether a videographer was needed, but we’ve never regretted it - with our beautiful venue Happy Valley and Mike’s unbelievable talent...it was a match made in heaven!! Mike we can’t thank you enough for your beautiful work! It is the most amazing keepsake that perfectly captures our day and we will be watching it for years to come! Oh my goodness! We knew when we booked Mike he was the best in the business and blimey did he do an incredible job on both our engagement video and wedding video. Mike! You are just so incredibly talented at what you do, and we genuinely could not be happier with every single thing about our wedding film. Wow, we have just watched our wedding film and we are blown away! We laughed, cried and felt every emotion in between. Mike is so kind, friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. So glad we have our films so we can keep reliving such a special day in our lives. Mike is an essential 'part' of any wedding day :) Highly recommend him.

We hired Mike to capture our wedding on video this summer and I can’t say enough about how highly I recommend him as a wedding videographer. We planned our wedding in Norfolk from Canada and Mike made the planning process such a breeze. He was always great with communicating as we planned for our big day and went above and beyond to help us out with our overseas planning by suggesting other great local suppliers and vendors to use (who were all fabulous as well!) and he was so organized every step of the way. We were so impressed with Mike leading up to our special day but his professionalism and skill blew us away even more during our wedding. The way he approaches his craft made us and our guests feel so at ease and really speaks to his professionalism and experience in videography. Just when we thought we couldn’t be impressed any more with Mike, we received the video from our wedding – IT IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! From the angles of the shots, to the music selection and everything in-between, he truly captured the emotions and spirit of our wedding. The video is so beautiful and the quality truly looks like a movie. Having our wedding filmed was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. To be able to watch all of our special moments and relive the incredible day is absolutely priceless and we owe that all to Mike!

From the moment we got engaged I told my other half we were having a videographer at the wedding as for me it was so important to be able to capture the most important and special day of our lives and for us to have something to be able to look back on in years to come. And from knowing Mike in the wedding industry we chose to go with him. He is such a lovely guy with a huge smile and a big heart. You can see he is so passionate in what he does and that comes across in the video quality and style he produces. He took the time to get to know myself and Brad allowing our video to be not only personal in the content it shows but in also the way it has been put together and the music he has used. On the day itself he was a joy to have around and blended into the day, allowing us to feel so comfortable being filmed. Nothing was forced or staged meaning everything just flowed so nicely. He picked up on things and little special moments we may have missed or had no idea he was even filming at the time which meant the video we received really told our story of the day. we are both in tears watching it for the first time and absolutely love the incredible memory he has given us to treasure forever. The love, happiness and emotion of the day can be relived forever thanks to Mike. if your in doubt whether to book or not.... just do it because you will never regret doing it but you will regret not! Honestly the most incredible memory we have of our day, we couldn’t have asked for more. Mike is the loveliest guy and made us feel at ease through the whole thing, he knows exactly what he is doing and captured some amazing moments whilst somehow managing to be a ghost for the day as we didn’t even notice he was there most of the time.
