Discreet, memorable, engaging, storytelling, unique
I feel very lucky to do what I love as my main job and travel all over the UK and meet amazing people.
Do your best not to overthink your budget. A wedding video will last forever and capture your special day in a way that nothing else can.
Do your supplier research and find out what youâll get for your money. with videographers, a short trailer film is great but remember to ask questions before you book to find out exactly what youâll get on your wedding day. Most have different packages available to suit your needs and that you can tailor them if needed.
I went to Edinburgh Napier University to study Digital Media which was a course that introduced me to film and the art of editing and being creative within professional tools to think outside the box. I am self-taught on photography / cinematography and experimented with these crafts on jobs whilst at university which lead me on to fall in love with filmmaking.
I then moved all over Scotland gaining more experiences working for outdoor adventure companies, real estate agents, collaborating with inspiring artists creating music videos, brand awareness films and short fiction filmmaking.
I then eventually launched my own business back in 2017 primarily focusing on weddings but also keeping the corporate side of work too. This allowed me to meet people and gain more experience. In addition, I also attended multiple workshops in England and masterclasses which allowed me to meet industry professionals and connect with other filmmakers all over the world.
After a few years, working full time freelance, I got offered a part time role to work in a growing video production company based in Southampton. This happened thanks to the contacts I had made and kept in touch with from a filmmaking workshop in Brighton in 2015. He runs a successful commercial and wedding business in Southampton. I am currently working part time at Bullet Media and also part time for my own business.
