To be honest we had not even thought about getting a videographer for our wedding until Alan was recommended to us. We have never been so glad that we did! From start to finish Alan captured our day beautifully. We could not have been happier with the finished dvd and the wee teaser he gave us before hand made us even more excited to see what he had captured. Alan was amazing, professional and went out of his way to make sure we remembered the most fabulous day of our life’s, even giving us a lift to the beach for our wedding photos. We hired Memories by movie to be our wedding videographer for the 9th Nov 2019, from the very start Alan was first class, any question was answered straight away. Alan wanted to meet us at the wedding venue so he could get an idea of the set up. He took us through his plan and vision for the day and he welcomed our input and he put it all together. On the day itself he went about his business without being noticed. Alan had a teaser video ready within two weeks of the wedding which was brilliant, he then had the full video delivered to the house within 2 days of that, we sat together last night and watched it, absolutely stunning video, capturing everything perfectly. We can’t thank Alan enough for all his hard work and brilliant end product, not only is it a brilliant service he provides but he’s a brilliant guy as well. We can’t recommend you enough!

My wife and I got married on 28th of September 2019 at the Dumfries Arms Hotel. Alan from Memories by Movie was our videographer. We honestly could not be happier with the work carried out by Alan right from the start. We contacted Alan 2 years ago when we announced our engagement and within the hour we had all his packages in a list and a quote with no issues. Once we selected our venue Alan suggested that he would come and see the venue for all the best angles where he can set up his drone and cater to all the shots we wanted. On the day Alan got a video of the full hotel from a sky view, bride and bridesmaids getting ready, groom arriving and our ceremony. Due to our package we bought Alan gave us the video diary for free. After our wedding Alan had our teaser within 3 weeks and our wedding video the week after, re watching our special day I can honestly say how well Alan captured the moments down to a T, he is very skilled and both Sarah and I are over the moon with our wedding video. 100% would recommend Memories by Movie to conduct any wedding or any event that requires a videographer. If you are considering Alan to be your videographer you will not regret it in the slightest bit.

Memories By Movie is very highly recommended by us!! We got scammed, by a company who offered us a videographer and photographer package, which was purchased almost a year before our big day. Luckily we found out before the wedding day and Alan, who was recommended to us by a friend stepped in at very short notice (1 week) and travelled down to Liverpool and saved the day. Hooray! Alan was a wonderful videographer who was so professional and good fun. We were not the easiest couples to deal with I'm sure.... but nothing was any bother to him. Alan was available from the beginning of the day to the end of the first few dances, capturing every special moment from our guest to additional surprises ❤. Alan had us laughing during our pictures with the Ayr FBC and Killie FBC rivalry (which was awesome and made the photos even better!). Alan worked really well with our photographer and did not make us feel overwhelmed with cameras in our faces... in fact there were times we didn't even know he was there, which was exactly what we wanted to be honest! Alan allowed us to have the space that we needed to enjoy the day and really added happiness to our day. Alan worked hard all day to make sure that he got a lot of fantastic footage. He captured wonderful drone footage around the Alloway area including the magnificent Brig and River Doon. This really adds a lot to the video and not everyone offers this! Furthermore, Alan went above and beyond with our daytime entertainer who sang one of our favourite songs. Alan liaised with Chris Andreucci to arranged to have this song professionally recorded and used this as our soundtrack, which was just so special (thank you). It is so important to pick a videographer you can trust and you know will do the best job for you that you'll be able to cherish forever.... well Memories by Movie Videography is the one for you!
