Mathew’s journey began in 2017 when he filmed a friend’s wedding as a gift. That experience sparked a deep passion, and since then, he has filmed up to 40 weddings a year. His work has earned him recognition, including being shortlisted as a Welsh Wedding Videographer of the Year.

What is your most memorable wedding?
I have enjoyed all the weddings I have filmed. I have always had a connection with the couple and feel like I can genuinely share in their day. I love capturing the little moments that make me smile. Although one memorable moment was watching the young son of the bride and groom walk down the aisle with tears down his face holding a sign saying "Don't worry ladies, I'm still single" I think he was confused about the attention he was receiving and didn't know how to respond. Thats a moment he will look back on in years to come and laugh out loud, I am sure!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take your time and talk things through with each other. But, don't assume suppliers are always available. If you feel like you've met the right supplier. Book them before they get booked by someone else.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Get in contact. Meet up for a coffee/Tea. Chat about common interests. Laugh a lot. Book me! I film the best wedding ever and you love the film forever!
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
The most exciting thing is my Lab puppy, Nancy. She is exciting to watch and she's always excited, especially when food is around.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
The secret life of Walter Mitty (Ben Stiller version) I love the cinematography and the destinations. That would have been a great working holiday.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
I like upbeat, uplifting tracks that help tell the narrative of each couple.
Describe how you got into videography.
I started off as an Actor, and was always fascinated by Film. Turns out I preferred being behind the camera in the end.
