My most memorable wedding was at Coombe Lodge in Somerset where I stepped in at the last minute when the couple were ghosted by their previous videographer. It was the best decision I have made as the day was fantastic, the couple were amazing and by the end of it and felt like I was part of the wedding party. We had some great shots of a stunning venue, drone shots of the first dance and a great sparkler tunnel. I have had a lot of recommendations off the back of it and it was the point I realised just what doing this meant for the couple and I was glad to salvage what was a stressful time for them.

Plan five minutes somewhere in the day where you can just have a moment by yourselves away from everyone, even your photographer and videographer. It is a long day but goes by in a flash and you'll feel you haven't had time to take it in. That moment to decompress and appreciate each other on your wedding day is simply the best.
Anything dedicated to those who can't be with us always get me. Whether that is leaving a place at the top table, pouring a drink for them or leaving them a slice of cake, there are so many great ways to remember those who haven't made your wedding day.
I like to be as engaging and available as possible. Usually it would start with a few emails about my service, I am open to any questions and respond quickly. I then offer the chance to have a phone call before committing to help build that relationship. Once the deposit has been paid and the date secure, I leave the couple to focus on other things and get on with contacting the venue to give them my details, insurance and check if the drone can be used. I then set up a consultation about a month out from the wedding in person or on video call so they can see my face, get to know me a bit and go through the wedding day and what they want from their wedding video. I am always available on the phone for any questions at any point.
Capturing a first dance on the drone is probably one of my coolest shots. I also love a confetti shot and pride myself on capturing those in slow motion and getting the reactions to the confetti hitting.
Each wedding is individual, so I try and match the music to the vibe of the wedding and make it as unique as possible. I have access to a catalogue of licensed music through Audiio and enjoy the process of matching the music to the shots I have got.
I used to be a journalist, please don't judge me on that, and then moved into sport and the communications side of things. It was here I was required to do more video content for the business I worked for and found a real passion for it and the way it could tell my story, much like why I enjoyed journalism; I love telling stories.
