Take time to soak it all in — the day goes by fast, so be present in every moment.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My favorite personal touch has to be when a couple included their dog as the ring bearer — it brought so much joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments that made the day feel even more special and unique.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Typically, I reach out to couples about 30 days before their wedding to discuss the flow of the day and understand what moments they’d like me to capture. I also share some of my ideas to ensure we’re aligned and provide example videos whenever possible, so they have a clear picture of what to expect. This collaborative approach helps create a comfortable, stress-free experience with no unexpected surprises on the big day.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
One of the most exciting moments I’ve captured was when, during a wedding on a lakeside property, the groom and guests suddenly jumped into the lake fully clothed — the spontaneous energy and pure joy made it an unforgettable scene to film.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
I’d love to direct Tangled because it beautifully tells a story of adventure, self-discovery, and finding love in unexpected places. That sense of wonder and heartfelt connection is exactly what I strive to capture in every wedding film — those moments when couples discover new joy and create their own unique story.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Honestly, I usually go with Ed Sheeran — his songs just get the mood right every time. They’re emotional but easygoing, which fits perfectly with the real moments I capture.
Describe how you got into videography.
I come from a family of photographers—my dad and sister are both photographers (LUX Wedding Photography), while I ran the photo booths (LUX Photo booths) alongside my mum for several years. I started out as a content creator at weddings where my sister and dad were shooting, and over time I found my passion shifting towards videography and content creation. Now, I focus on capturing beautiful, authentic moments on film that tell each couple’s unique story.
