What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
As a wedding videographer, I've had the privilege of witnessing many beautiful and unique personal touches at weddings. One of my favorite personal touches was when a couple incorporated a "timeline of their love story" into the wedding decor.
They displayed a timeline that showcased significant milestones in their relationship, such as the day they met, their first date, the proposal, and other special moments. Each point on the timeline was accompanied by photos and short anecdotes, creating a visual narrative of their journey together.
This not only added a personalized and sentimental touch to the wedding but also allowed guests to connect with the couple's love story on a deeper level. As a videographer, I found that it provided rich material for storytelling, allowing me to incorporate these moments into the wedding film seamlessly.
Personal touches like these not only make the wedding more memorable but also create a more intimate and engaging experience for everyone involved. It's a wonderful way for couples to share their unique journey and create lasting memories for themselves and their guests.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From enquiry to phone call, I will talk you through my packages and pricing, send over all the details so you have it in writing, from there if you wish to book in I fire an invoice across, this secures the date and the final balance isn't due until 14 days before the wedding date.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
The most exciting thing I've ever caught on camera was an unexpected and incredibly heartfelt surprise during a wedding ceremony. The groom, without the bride's knowledge, had prepared a heartfelt video message that he recorded and edited himself. He played this video during the ceremony, expressing his love, gratitude, and excitement for their journey together.
The surprise video not only moved the bride to tears but also had a profound impact on everyone present. The raw emotion and genuine connection captured in that moment were truly special. As a videographer, being able to document such a sincere and unplanned expression of love added an extra layer of authenticity to the wedding film.
It's these unexpected, emotionally charged moments that make capturing weddings so rewarding. They allow me to create films that not only showcase the beauty of the day but also convey the genuine emotions and connections that make each wedding unique and memorable.

Describe how you got into videography.
My journey into videography has been a fascinating and unexpected adventure that began during my time working on cruise ships. While immersed in marketing and branding for TUI, I shared an office with my lifelong friend, Ryan, whom I had coincidentally worked with previously at the Prince Edward Theatre in London's West End.
Ryan and I became best buddies, embarking on a global odyssey that took us to over 120 countries. Our shared passion for filming our adventures and editing the footage for fun was a creative outlet that defined our time together.
Upon returning to the UK during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself exploring ways to leverage my camera skills for a livelihood. The possibilities were vast, ranging from real estate videography to music videos โ a realm where I had the privilege of working with names like Ed Sheeran, Big Narstie, and more.
In contemplating my next move, I recognized that wedding videography offered a unique blend of business sustainability and an incredibly positive environment. Weddings, with their inherent demand for videography services, became an appealing prospect. Beyond the business aspect, I was drawn to the infectious joy and love that permeate the atmosphere of a wedding day. It reminded me of the positivity and energy I experienced during my entertainment career on cruise ships.
Choosing to immerse myself in the world of wedding videography was more than a business decision; it was a conscious choice to surround myself with the uplifting energy and love that define these special moments in people's lives.
