What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't forget a wedding video!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are far to many to mention, but if I had to choose one, one of my couples were on a very small budget, they were having their wedding in the brides mothers back garden, and they had handmade all of the flowers out of sheet music - it was stunning!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After an enquiry, there will often be some back and forth over email/phone/skype to help select the best package or create a bespoke package tailored to the specific couple and their wedding. We ask for some info on the day and a 20% deposit to hold the date. Closer to the big day we finalise any details and we have the final video(s) back to the couple within 60 days after their wedding (although it's often a lot quicker than that!)
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
True love! (or Helicopters, fire breathers, lots of animals, boats etc)
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
Torn between Titanic and The Lord of the Rings (they couldn't really be more different lol)
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Its not really a soundtrack - but I love putting the words said from the speeches over the wedding video - especially if they are from a groom to a bride or bride to a groom - that's very special.
Describe how you got into videography.
I studied film and music tech at uni, and it was only after working in corporate video that I realised that it was weddings that caught my attention and creativity.
