What is your most memorable wedding?
I have fond memories of all of them because they are all so different! Some highlights include amazing colourful smoke bombs, a singing waitress, magicians, live bands and hilarious photo booths.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, Uplifting, Relaxed, Cinematic, Unobtrusive
What about your business are you most proud of?
That I set it up on my own from nothing!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Obviously my number 1 would be to have a videographer, to capture moments you might miss. But since I'm biased I would say save money where you can - can you have a midweek wedding? Have you got any friends/family with skills you can use to help? Can you look at buy/sell / Ebay for wedding decor?
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
At a recent wedding I filmed the mother of the groom wrote a really heartfelt poem and read it during the ceremony. It was lovely and clearly meant a lot to the couple.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
So we'll start by having a chat over email to discuss the wedding and check my diary etc. This would be followed by all the formalities (contracts, deposits...). Then the fun beings, we would have a telephone or video conversation to get to know each other and make plans for the big day!
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
For me the singing waitress was a highlight as it was so much fun, but I was most proud of capturing a butterfly flying off with the couples children in the background of the shot. Little things eh!
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
The Greatest Showman, because it's just the best!
Describe how you got into videography.
My degree is in video production so I've been into it since I was very young!
