What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan well in advance!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Not at a wedding, but after my wedding, our photography provided us with a beautiful personalized presentation package that really added that extra touch and showed that they cared about us, I strive to be like that in everything that I do.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Communication is key, I like to be completely honest and as descriptive as possible from the get go, I provide you with full description of the 3 packages we provide, these are only guide packages so completely customizable. Once you have decided on a package. We can then discuss details, I usually say lets meet up or talk on the phone 3 montsh before the big day to discuss every detail, the things you really want to make sure you capture and the timings etc.
On the day I try to keep out of peoples way as much as possible, I find getting the perfect shots is usually an art and these are often candid shots.
Once the day is over it usually takes 4-12 weeks to complete the edit depending on the package you have decided on and how complex the shoot was. I will then upload the video to youtube and Vimeo for you to share with your friends and family and will provide you with 2-3 copies of the video on DVDs or USB sticks.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
I've captured some spectacular aerial views of the Indonesian island of Bali, I often find the most spectacular views come from the sky.
Describe how you got into videography.
I've spent 12 years in the broadcast industry and find that providing video to people for their events and special day is just so pleasing and joyful that it is my true passion.
