What is your most memorable wedding?
I think for sentimental reasons, the wedding I just filmed with Kim & Luke has to be mentioned. In between trying to fit their special day in around the pandemic Luke, unfortunately, lost his mum. I'll never forget the day and Luke's speech.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Modern, Documentary, Emotive, Experienced, Calming.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Finishing runner-up in the International Shorty Awards is up there, but before that has to be the reviews about the experience couples have had to work with me, that's always so important. I am here to serve but creating friendships along the way is amazing.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make sure you schedule in 5 mins for yourselves away from everyone to just chill and think about the day and the weight of the moment. Don't let such an incredible day pass you by.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A bride once left letters to every single guest at the wedding under their plates at the reception, a personal message from her, I love that!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I listen, I learn, we talk, we go over ideas, options, and how I can make a bespoke video just for them. On the day I'm there to film but also there to be a calming influence, to help and to tell their story, capturing the moments they might miss or even forget.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
Being on stage at Wembley Arena in front of 80,000 people isn't too bad :) At a wedding, I think flying my drone in cool locations, so much fun!
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Whatever fits the edit. Every wedding day has a different vibe so the music has to fit both that and the style I shot in that day.
Describe how you got into videography.
I worked in photography before (and still do, just not as much) and wanted to learn something new. That was about 12 years ago. I'm pleased I did!
