I'm a calm, friendly presence who creates a lasting, special memory of your wedding day.
After 14 years freelancing, filming weddings, working across film and TV, and covering live events, I launched Crane Wedding Films to build something more personal: a direct, meaningful connection with the couples I work with on such an important day.
Getting married myself to my amazing wife, Rosie, deepened my appreciation for weddings and all the thoughtful, beautiful details that make each day unique.
My background in commercials and fast-paced events means I’m adaptable, calm under pressure, and always watching for the moments that matter. I work in a relaxed, unobtrusive way so you can enjoy your day, while I capture it with care and attention to detail, ready for you to relive forever.
I’m highly collaborative and enjoy working closely with photographers and other suppliers on the day. A strong team approach helps ensure everything runs smoothly and that you receive the very best visual memories of your wedding.

How far in advance should we book our wedding videographer?
Most couples book 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates. If your date is sooner, feel free to enquire as I may still have availability.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Your date is secured once the contract is signed and the booking fee is paid.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I film weddings across the UK and further I am happy to travel. Travel costs may apply depending on the location.
Do you film destination weddings?
Absolutely. Get in touch with your location and plans and I can provide a custom quote.
What is your filming style?
I shoot digitally so there are zero limitations on the day however my editing process has a sprinkling of analogue influence for a glamorous nostalgic warmth fit for the big screen.
Will you pose us or stage moments?
I keep things natural and relaxed. Most of the day is filmed as it unfolds and in collaboration with your photographer.
Do you work alongside photographers?
Yes. I’m used to working with photographers and always coordinate to make sure we both capture the best moments.
How long do you stay on the wedding day?
Coverage usually starts during morning preparations and continues through the ceremony, speeches, and first dance.
Do you capture the ceremony and speeches in full?
Yes these are typically recorded in full with professional audio so you can relive those moments exactly as they happened.
