Based in the West Midlands, Bridger Film & Photography is run by Carly and Dan, a husband-and-wife team passionate about telling your unique love story. With years of experience filming for the BBC and other major broadcasters, they bring a professional, cinematic touch to relaxed and natural wedding films and photography.
Your wedding day is full of genuine moments—laughter, tears, and everything in between. Our approach is romantic yet unobtrusive, focusing on real, unscripted emotions. We blend seamlessly into your day so you and your guests feel comfortable, often described as having friends behind the camera who help you relax and enjoy every moment.
Before starting Bridger Film & Photography, Carly and Dan built successful careers in television, working with the BBC, Channel 4, and Channel 5. This background sharpened their storytelling skills and cinematic eye, which they now bring to wedding videography. Their passion for capturing authentic moments and meaningful stories makes them a trusted choice for couples wanting a wedding film that truly reflects their journey.
We recently filmed a wedding that had a rodeo bull and everyone had a go, even the bride & groom.
Natural, relaxed, stylish, fun and approachable.
I think I'm most proud of the quality of our films. We bought most of our kit just before the pandemic hit and we self taught in a matter of months (we are used to shooting on TV cameras which are huge and not appropriate for weddings).
I'm also chuffed to bits that I managed to set up a website all by myself without killing anyone... (wine most definitely helped)
I'm also proud that we can now do wedding photography and videography- working together as team on the wedding day and in the office with all the editing.
Speeches BEFORE Wedding Breakfast. Controversial I know but here are the reasons why;
1.) It's kinder to the speakers as they are less stressed. This way they can actually enjoy the food and wine.
2.) Less time for loose lips from the Best Man/Woman when they are not able to drink their nerves away.
3.) It's an ice breaker & good talking point for people at tables, especially if they don't know each other well.
I think it was the Rodeo Bull at the wedding drinks reception. If we weren't filming everyone on it it I think we'd have given it a go. It was a great and all the guests were getting competitive. The Crazy Golf at Prestwold Hall was another big favourite of ours at a recent wedding.
We receive all our enquiries through our website. If you don't hear back from us within 48 hours, please do check your Junk Folder.
I love the bridal prep and the ceremony section of our films the most so that's where my favourite tracks are. They are usually very chilled and atmospheric.
Our background as television producers and directors meant that we were all over the world filming for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Discovery.
Since having our two children, we decided to set up Bridger Film and Photography so that we could stay creative, keep doing what we love but with the flexibility to suit our family life.
