What’s your filming style?
I take a calm, unobtrusive approach, capturing real moments as they naturally unfold — the laughter, the happy tears, and the little details that make your day unique. The goal is a cinematic, timeless film that feels honest and true to you.
What’s it like to work with you on the day?
I’m a very friendly and relaxed person. Upon arrival, I introduce myself to everyone and check how things are going, then step back and let everything unfold naturally, as if I weren’t there. I’m always happy to offer advice or help with little jobs when needed, but otherwise my focus is on making sure you can enjoy every moment while I capture it.
How do you help couples feel comfortable on camera?
I don’t rely on staged poses. Instead, I guide gently when needed and let moments happen naturally. Most couples find they soon forget I’m there — which makes the footage feel authentic and full of emotion.
Do you travel?
Yes! I primarily film across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, but I can travel further across England. For weddings outside the local area, I may include a small travel fee or overnight accommodation if needed (nothing too fancy...just a local Travelodge keeps me happy).
How long until we receive our film?
Your final wedding films are ready within 6–12 weeks. I take my time to craft a cinematic edit that truly tells your story, making sure every important moment shines.
Do you work with photographers?
Absolutely! I’ve worked alongside many photographers and love collaborating to ensure both photo and video capture the best moments without getting in each other’s way.
Can we choose the music for our film?
I select music from Artlist, a professional library of high-quality, cinematic tracks. This lets me create a polished, emotional soundtrack that perfectly complements the story of your day.
Do you offer raw footage?
Yes — if you’d like access to the raw clips, I can provide them for an additional fee. Alternatively, I can offer a Documentary Edit, where everything is nicely edited together. You'll hear all of the natural sounds from your big day and it has a lovely "home movie" feel to it.
