Based between Edinburgh and Glasgow, Boda Productions is a dedicated team of passionate filmmakers who specialise in creating authentic, beautiful wedding films. Since 2010, we’ve been capturing weddings across Scotland with a discreet, candid style that lets your day unfold naturally.
We believe your wedding film should reflect the true spirit of your day. Our approach is unobtrusive and natural — we focus on real moments without interrupting the flow. Most couples and guests say they hardly noticed we were there. Our aim is to be a calm, friendly presence so you can relax and enjoy every moment, while we preserve your memories.
Every wedding is unique, so we offer flexible packages designed to capture your celebration perfectly. Here’s what we provide:
From our first conversation to delivering your final films, expect a friendly, professional, and communicative service. We’re passionate about wedding storytelling and honoured to be part of so many special days. Working seamlessly alongside your photographer, we capture every big moment and little detail — helping you and your guests feel completely at ease throughout.
Our own! Only kidding, it was a blur.
Discreet, candid, relaxed, colourful, documentary.
We have been filming weddings since 2010!
Ok, you're getting our 4 top tips;
1. It's all about your guests. Before you think about the venue, what type of wedding you want etc. have a think about who you really want there. Weddings are all about the people at them, not the stuff.
2. Keep it simple
3. Everything takes slightly longer than you have planned for so allow extra time
4. Feel free to add things in or drop things out that you don't want. You don't have to tick all the boxes just because that's what you do at a wedding. Want to do a Bride's speech? Go for it. Don't fancy the cake cutting ? Drop it, no-one will notice apart from a couple of Auntie's. Etc etc, you get the idea.
Dogs are always a winner. Or babies. But mostly dogs.
Relaxed :) Don't stress - we've done this before! We'll catch up on a call a couple of months before the wedding to run through everything so that our side of things runs really smoothly on the day.
When a load of the guests dressed as superheroes mid way through the day. It was entertainment for the kids and it shouldn't have worked but totally did.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off. An all time classic
An upbeat one. Weddings are happy things!
While I was a graphic designer back in 2010, we filmed a wedding for a friend of a friend for free as a favour. It turned out rather well and the rest is history.
