What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding we film is memorable.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Sure photos could capture quite a bit throughout the entire wedding, but a wedding videography is meant to capture the sound and movement as well. A wedding video will allow you to hear the little sounds your significant other does out of enjoyment plus the laughter of your friends. You will watch you first dance as well as see the first kiss as newlyweds. Photos are a good tool, but they cannot capture the moments so precisely nor allow the viewer to relive the atmosphere on such a deep level. The wedding videographer is a professional who knows which angle to use at any time and be able to capture every possible moment and even the simplest of “events”.
Additionally, as newlyweds, you won’t be able to see everything or give you attention to everyone on your wedding day. First, you will be too worried that something might go wrong and then you will be too happy to care about anyone else other than your new husband or wife. It is the wedding videographer’s job to capture the moment when your mother in law bursts into tears of happiness and let you watch them later. These moments could share a lot of emotion.
What is essentially good about professional wedding videographers is that they not only capture the raw moments during your wedding day but also take the time to put in an edited movie version filled with pure emotions with an appropriate music background which allows for the story to naturally develop, It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and it will be the closest thing you get to reliving the magical day.

Describe how you got into videography.
It all started with my own wedding video, coming up to 30years now, back in the day of VHS tapes.
We had the wedding, had a fantastic honeymoon and came back all excited to watch our wedding video and relive such a memorable day.
Well that wasn’t the case, it was appalling what we received.
It was such poor quality we could not recognise who the guests were.
So I decided to buy myself a camcorder back then, filming families and friends weddings. Then the word started getting around on how they enjoyed reliving their wedding day.
So I decided to take it a step further, learning all about computers, getting involved with editing techniques and basically have never looked back since.
For over 13 years now I have been producing weddings videos full time, 28 years overall.
My son Sam is my second shooter and now my daughter Ellie, is getting involved with the editing, bit of a family thing going on lol.
So there’s a little insight on how I got into videography.
