What is your most memorable wedding?
We've filmed well over 800 weddings, so it's really difficult to pick one as the most memorable. We are though constantly in awe of the sheer amount of effort brides and grooms put into making their big day so special.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Attentive. Observant. Patient. Creative. Discreet.
What about your business are you most proud of?
We're really proud that the footage we are entrusted to capture will be watched by our clients and their family for years to come.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
24 hours before your wedding day, delegate all remaining to-do’s to your bridal party (they won’t let you down!). Then savour the build up - and on your wedding day, relax and have the best day ever!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After a booking is made, written confirmation is sent by us to our clients. Then around six weeks before the date of the wedding we send our client questionnaire so we can finalise the arrangements. Zoom calls are always welcome to discuss things 'face-to-face' - but for most of our clients phone calls work just as well.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
That's easy. Every time the bride and groom set eyes on each other on their wedding day!
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
Four Weddings and a Funeral. To be honest I wouldn't have filmed it any differently... it just looked like it was such a lot of fun to make and be a part of.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
American Authors: "Best Day of My Life!"
Describe how you got into videography.
I was always 'nominated' to be in charge of the video camera at special family occasions from a very early age. I've always been very creative - and videography is something that I have always enjoyed. This led on to me studying film-making and editing. I have now been filming weddings for over 15 years.
