Our most memorable wedding? Well this recently changed, there have been many memorable weddings over the years and indeed it is difficult to pick or single one out as every wedding has an aspect of it that is unique and makes it memorable but perhaps the most memorable wedding at this moment in time would have been Cheryl & John's filmed in July 2016. Cheryl & John's wedding was probably one of the biggest we have ever filmed (in terms of budget and events during the day), the wedding took place in Hexham Abbey and was followed by a reception at Slaley Hall Hotel, the Hotel had been booked for exclusive use and the entertainment was non stop throughout with various acts and entertainers including Shane Filan (singer song writer and front man of the former boy band Westlife) who performed in the late evening. The Bridal party were transported between venues by no less than 6 white Rolls Royce Phantoms and a helicopter to take the married couple to the reception venue. Among the guests in attendance there were a number of celebrities and well know faces, this wedding will always remain one of our most memorable.
Modern, creative, natural, engaging and emotive.
Creating lasting memories and making people smile, knowing we have captured the time of your life "for a lifetime"
Book suppliers well in advance, that way you get to pick from the very best
This was literally a "touch" the father of the bride simply touched his daughter on the shoulder to let her know he was there when she was so emotional that she couldn't continue with her vows, she turned to look at her father, managed a smile and continued without a pause.
After the initial inquiry we ask for some basic information from our couples in order to provide a quote and confirm our availability, the next step would be to arrange a meeting (or telephone consultation if a meeting is not practical due to distance) to discuss their requirements in detail, once the coverage/package has been agreed we then ask for a deposit to secure the day. We then have a further consultation sometime just before the wedding day to go over the day and schedule in detail.
Shane Filan from West Life entertaining guests at a wedding! Oh and 6x White Rolls Royce Phantoms for the bridal party (both of these at the same wedding)
I don't have a favorite, like the couple getting married, weddings are so individual that we always ask our couple to provide us with a list of their favorite music to use. Some tracks are obviously very popular and once the music chosen has been added it transforms the footage into something very special and we always edit the footage to the music, it's not just dropped on to the video.
I have always had an artistic ability and passion to be creative, holiday footage was always carefully edited and video was hobby that extended from my technical background as a video engineer (repairing audio/video equipment). After filming a friends wedding (who worked at the BBC) I received some very positive feedback & comments on how professional the final video looked, the word professional stuck with me and so I researched wedding videography as a business and 15 years later, the rest as they say is history.
