York House

My husband and I were married in Molesey on the 28th May 2005 and held the reception at York House. The venue is very flexible and we were fortunate enough to host our reception after the extensive interior redecoration, so it was gleaming! We used the Salon and terrace for the initial cocktail reception, the clarendon for the wedding breakfast and then had the Hyde, Salon and octygon in the evening (the disco was in the hyde).

We got married at York House in July and strongly recommend it as a venue. It's a great option for a London wedding that also provides a stately home and large garden and is reasonably priced. Our guests - local and international - were very impressed with the venue. We booked the Salon and Winter Garden for our ceremony and cocktail reception and had use of the terrace (an advantage in the warm weather). All of the staff at York House were great to deal with.

We got married in the Winter Gardens at York House in September - a beautiful, intimate venue that looks great both inside and out. Staff were helpful in the buildup and always happy to answer any questions, and Ross who was on hand during the day was brilliant in making sure everything ran perfectly. Would 100% recommend!

I hosted my 50th Birthday with around 100 guests at York House, the venue was a delight - we had a string quartet for the meet and greet part in the winter garden & terrace, and had the main event in the Halls - Totally thrilled and couldn't recommend highly enough.

We had our wedding and reception at York House on 10th June 2017 and could not have been happier with the way it went from start to finish. All the ladies at York House were fantastically helpful with the planning and Ross, the caretaker, was an absolute star. We would thoroughly recommend using the venue. There was initial confusion of the wrong price list at the fair (The dates were to April 2018 and we were scheduled to get married in October 2018) But quickly resolved. Website advised that should bring in external caterers and helpfully provided a list of caterers. As we are a Thai/Nigerian couple i was delighted to see such multicultural options. York house were helpful, patient and contactable via email/phone. We primarily dealt with Leanne for the entire run up who was fantastic.

From start to finish, the service was excellent. We were recommended the Winter garden which was beautiful (if a little hot because of the glass roof!) The staff were polite and helpful. I cannot recommend enough.

As a Celebrant and Wedding Planner I cannot recommend York House highly enough for their willingness to help, to listen and go 'the extra mile'. ALL their staff were an absolute pleasure to work with before, during and after my clients Wedding. The venue worked well and the grounds were stunning. Thanks also to Amelia for all her hard work

We had a beautiful wedding at York House in September. The venue looks lovely in all our pictures and guests were so impressed with the rooms. The Winter Garden was my favourite and should put compared to other rooms I’d seen. For an intimate small wedding this was perfect. Staff were all wonderful and the registrar stole the show. I’d recommend the venue to anyone, especially if on a budget.

We loved getting married here. The ceremony went smoothly and the Registers were very friendly to us and all the guests. We can't thank you enough. We had the best time! Thank you so much!
