York House is licensed for ceremonies and can provide suites for drinks and evening receptions. Their team are happy to facilitate external caterers and suppliers, allowing you to truly personalise your wedding to create the perfect setting for a memorable occasion.
Those planning extravagant celebrations can begin their special day in Clarendon Hall. This spacious room features a stage and is licensed to host ceremonies of up to 250 guests. This room can also be transformed for a sit-down wedding breakfast for up to 150 guests on round tables.
The Hyde Room can accommodate smaller ceremonies for up to 70 guests. This versatile space can stage a drinks and canapés reception following your ceremony or be used as additional space for dining when booked in conjunction with the Clarendon Hall or the Salon.
Set in the front of the house and boasting a beautiful chandelier and elegant furnishings is The Salon, which can comfortably host intimate ceremonies for up to 70 of your loved ones. The Salon can also be used for a sit-down meal with 60 attendees or 80 guests for a drinks reception.
Additional areas include the Winter Garden, a beautiful Victorian conservatory overlooking the park, and the traditional Terrace Room, which features direct access to the gardens. Both are equipped to host intimate ceremonies and receptions.
York House in Twickenham, London has been featured in many films and TV shows, including Alfie, Downton Abbey, Fleabag, and Heartstopper. It was also the location for the video for The Cure's song "The Hanging Garden".

The venue is very flexible and we were fortunate enough to host our reception after the extensive interior redecoration, so it was gleaming! We used the Salon and terrace for the initial cocktail reception, the clarendon for the wedding breakfast and then had the Hyde, Salon and octygon in the evening (the disco was in the hyde). My husband and I were married in Molesey on the 28th May 2005 and held the reception at York House. The venue looks lovely in all our pictures and guests were so impressed with the rooms. The Winter Garden was my favourite and should put compared to other rooms I’d seen. For an intimate small wedding this was perfect. Staff were all wonderful and the registrar stole the show. I’d recommend the venue to anyone, especially if on a budget. We had a beautiful wedding at York House in September. The venue looks lovely in all our pictures and guests were so impressed with the rooms. York house were helpful, patient and contactable via email/phone. We primarily dealt with Leanne for the entire run up who was fantastic.
