As soon as I arrived at Ye Olde Belle the evening before I suddenly calmed down and any questions that I asked were answered and solved and I was so at ease that everyone would make sure the day went okay and they absolutely did. Nothing was too much and I felt like the staff cared that we were okay too and having A nice day i.e. had I eaten breakfast and would I like some bringing to my room or playing us some of our evening buffet on a plate and some wedding cake so we could take it to our room after the evening reception. These small things made us feel really grateful that someone had considered our needs on a day where a bride and groom plan for everyone else’s needs! The function room and grounds were cleaned and furniture set up ready for the venue stylist. Staff had great relationships with some of the wedding services I had booked and were very polite and helpful to other wedding professionals that they hadn’t met before. All the food was of an exceptional high standard. There was nothing I didn’t eat that wasn’t delicious and not one guest has said a bad word about the wedding venue or the food except complementary things such as what a lovely charm the hotel has and how fabulous the food was. Was supposed to get married in June 2020 but was cancelled due to covid. The Ye Olde Bell helped us in every way possible. We had an intimate day in august 2020 with only 30 people which was so special to us and the staff made it feel so magical despite people being missing. Finally got round to wedding part 2 in April 2023. Again they did everything in their power to make everything run smoothly and make sure all of our guests were taken care of. I would 100% recommend the Ye Olde Bell for a wedding. The Ye Olde Bell could not have done any more for us to make our day special.
