At The Wroxeter we have a number of innovative, all-inclusive packages such as Summer Spectacular, Oktoberfest, Tipi Winter Wonderland and many more. Starting from just £3,850, our packages offer excellent value for money. However, we are just as happy to come up with something completely bespoke to suit your exact requirements. Our extensive grounds with views of the beautiful Shropshire countryside are the perfect setting for your wedding whatever time of year. Also at The Wroxeter is our rustic woodland ceremony area and summer time wild flower meadow, an enclosed section of the hotel's grounds encircled by trees and away from the hotel building. Our giant Kata tipis complete with fairy lights, furniture and bar are situated next to the woodland ceremony area and available for canapés, cocktails, and your wedding breakfast. The Mongolian Yurt provides an innovative, quirky touch for your ceremony or drinks reception. Warm, dry and accessible for all it offers something different without risk from the weather. Nearby Morrells Wood is a genuine working farm complete with rustic wedding barn, cow sheds, self-catering cottages and events field all overlooking the landmark Wrekin. At Morrells Wood we are also able to offer DIY festival weddings with just the major components taken care of leaving you free to mix and match your catering, entertainment and decorations.

Enchanting and perfectEnchanting and perfect
My daughter got married on the 24th of September. It is unimaginable that the day could have gone any better. Organisation, grounds and the staff were brilliant, all the food was super, one recommendation is wear elastic waistband as the portions are on the generous side to say the least, prepared and presented gorgeously. The woodland setting was enchanting perfect for the bride and grooms outlook and values. My daughter got married on the 24th of September. It is unimaginable that the day could have gone any better. Excellent! Excellent!
We had an amazing wedding at Wroxeter. The staff were fantastic and the value for money was excellent. We had our dream wedding with tipis and a woodland, for much less money than other ‘rustic’ theme venues. We loved that the venue wasn’t too big and so our family and friends could truly relax. The bridal preparation suite is also a big plus! Thank you Wroxeter. We had an amazing wedding at Wroxeter. The staff were fantastic and the value for money was excellent. We had our dream wedding with tipis and a woodland, for much less money than other ‘rustic’ theme venues. We loved that the venue wasn’t too big and so our family and friends could truly relax. The most wonderful day!The most wonderful day!
We can’t recommend The Wroxeter enough! From the moment we showed our interest in the venue till the moment we left after we were finally married they have been fantastic, nothing was too much hassle from all the emails to the awkward random questions. All the staff are wonderful and many of our guests have commented on how smoothly the day went and how brilliant the staff were, you will not regret your decision to choose this venue and their wonderful team!We can’t recommend The Wroxeter enough! I cannot recommend this venue enough. From start to finish it was a great experience, the end result was so much better than I could have imagined. Little details that I didn't even think about they made happen. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony but typical British weather it rained! The staff got the yurt ready and it was stunning. We then had the wedding breakfast in the tipis, again it was dressed beautifully. Seeing everything I envisioned come to life was so nice, the staff did an amazing job. Everyone was really lovely and couldn't do enough for us, the morning and evening staff handover was nice too, they made the effort to introduce themselves. Little things that for them probably was just part and parcel of their job were the little details that meant the world to us and made us feel like we were in good hands. Simply the bestSimply the best
I honestly don't know where to start from start to finish it was simply perfect. The support from the planning to the coordination of the day nothing was too much . The whole day was perfect. The food was incredible the dance floor was never empty ! Everything I wanted was done and all done with a smile. Thank you for making our day so perfect . As a wedding photographer, I am always working at amazing venues across Shropshire mainly, but I also shoot across England and abroad. There is truly something special about The Wroxeter and Morrells Wood (we have our wedding there this year!) I always know, without a shadow of a doubt that my clients will be looked after, and so will suppliers. I highly recommend both sites, and all the staff, food and accommodation! You will have an amazing day, at a great price point, with lots of added extras you would usually need to source yourself! A big shout out to Steve the Mobile DJ, their resident DJ, who provides an excellent party and professional service.As a wedding photographer, I am always working at amazing venues across Shropshire mainly, but I also shoot across England and abroad. The Best Day The Best Day
Our wedding day was everything we could have ever asked for thanks to The Wroxeter Hotel. Everything was extremely well organised right from the very first meeting. The grounds of the hotel were a huge selling point for us, they are just stunning. The staff are all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble at any point and food was delicious, it was highly raved about by our guest for weeks after. Our wedding day was everything we could have ever asked for thanks to The Wroxeter Hotel. Everything was extremely well organised right from the very first meeting. The grounds of the hotel were a huge selling point for us, they are just stunning. The staff are all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble at any point and food was delicious, it was highly raved about by our guest for weeks after.

Our most perfect weddingOur most perfect wedding
The Wroxeter Hotel in Shrewsbury, the beautiful location where we had our wedding Day. The hottest day of the year and it couldn't have been more perfect. The food was delicious, the ceremony was beautiful in there Conservatory and then we had our wedding breakfast outside under the Large Oak tree, the tables were set with pink blossom trees and a huge blossom arch over the top table. A spanish band were playing, the kids were entertained with a bouncy slide and tractor rides around the Wroxeter ruins whilst the adults could relax. The Staff were so helpful and kind, the wedding co-ordinators could not have done enough for you. The absolute perfect day!The absolute perfect day!
We fell in love with the farm at first sight and knew immediately it was where we would get married. From the outset the communication from Wroxeter was amazing. There was no pushy tactics and they were so happy to talk through exactly what we wanted. The meetings pre wedding were great and we got to go through everything and make it the day we dreamed of. On the day everything ran absolutely perfectly, all our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how perfect everything was. We had a fantastic chilled out day, the atmosphere was so relaxed and we were just able to enjoy every aspect of it. My only regret is that we can’t do it all over again.
