Wroxeter Weddings

We can’t recommend The Wroxeter enough! From the moment we showed our interest in the venue till the moment we left after we were finally married they have been fantastic, nothing was too much hassle from all the emails to the awkward random questions. All the staff are wonderful and many of our guests have commented on how smoothly the day went and how brilliant the staff were, you will not regret your decision to choose this venue and their wonderful team!

Thank you so much to all of your team for an amazing wedding day. We couldn’t have wished for better. A huge thank you to Lauren for helping us to plan it to perfection and to Jamie for his positive energy on the day that kept us both calm and smiling throughout, to every member of the team that kept things running behind the scenes who were super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, we can’t thank you all enough!

I cannot recommend this venue enough. From start to finish it was a great experience, the end result was so much better than I could have imagined. Little details that I didn't even think about they made happen. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony but typical British weather it rained! The staff got the yurt ready and it was stunning. We then had the wedding breakfast in the tipis, again it was dressed beautifully. Seeing everything I envisioned come to life was so nice, the staff did an amazing job. Everyone was really lovely and couldn't do enough for us, the morning and evening staff handover was nice too, they made the effort to introduce themselves. Little things that for them probably was just part and parcel of their job were the little details that meant the world to us and made us feel like we were in good hands.

As a wedding photographer, I am always working at amazing venues across Shropshire mainly, but I also shoot across England and abroad. There is truly something special about The Wroxeter and Morrells Wood (we have our wedding there this year!) I always know, without a shadow of a doubt that my clients will be looked after, and so will suppliers. I highly recommend both sites, and all the staff, food and accommodation! You will have an amazing day, at a great price point, with lots of added extras you would usually need to source yourself! A big shout out to Steve the Mobile DJ, their resident DJ, who provides an excellent party and professional service.

Morrells wood farm is the most perfect wedding venue. We looked at several venues but we always went back to the farm so we took the plunge to book in December 2019……….. from the very beginning we built a personal friendship and they got to know us well. Nothing was ever too much trouble all the way through the planning process. Then our day finally came and every detail was perfect, everything we discussed was carried out with precision timing and expertise. The decor was beautiful, people walked in and just uttered wow and we had lovely feedback from every single guest. The food was exceptional even though we chose a basic menu it didn’t matter because they made basic fabulous. Over a month later I will talk quite willingly to anyone that will listen and tell them about every wonderful detail. I honestly don't know where to start from start to finish it was simply perfect. The support from the planning to the coordination of the day nothing was too much . The whole day was perfect. The food was incredible the dance floor was never empty ! Everything I wanted was done and all done with a smile. Thank you for making our day so perfect . It was everything we dreamed of and more

We got married at the Wroxeter on Saturday 8th October and honestly, it was perfect. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful with planning and coordinating our day. The venue itself is gorgeous, we got married in the outdoor woodland ceremony area and had food in the tipis. They couldnt have been more help setting everything up and bringing our vision to life. We really loved the food as well (particularly the soup starter which everyone was completely wowed with!!!). I couldn't have asked for more!

We fell in love with the farm at first sight and knew immediately it was where we would get married. From the outset the communication from Wroxeter was amazing. There was no pushy tactics and they were so happy to talk through exactly what we wanted. The meetings pre wedding were great and we got to go through everything and make it the day we dreamed of. On the day everything ran absolutely perfectly, all our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how perfect everything was. We had a fantastic chilled out day, the atmosphere was so relaxed and we were just able to enjoy every aspect of it. My only regret is that we can’t do it all over again.

Our wedding day was everything we could have ever asked for thanks to The Wroxeter Hotel. Everything was extremely well organised right from the very first meeting. The grounds of the hotel were a huge selling point for us, they are just stunning. The staff are all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble at any point and food was delicious, it was highly raved about by our guest for weeks after.
