Picture this…a gentle breeze ruffling the green leaves, the chirrup of bird song and the soft, warm sunlight shining. Wilkswood is an idyllic countryside wedding venue located in the Isle of Purbeck. This is the perfect venue for couples looking for a relaxed, elegant marquee wedding. You can create the wedding you always wanted with the help and co-ordination of our inhouse professionals. We offer assistance in all areas including setting up, decoration, catering and marquee selection. We work with each couple to help them make the most of this venue, tweaking the available packages to suit your day.
Wilkswood is an amazing wedding venue found nestled in 4.5 acres of beautiful Isle of Purbeck countryside. Part of the unique experience is having the opportunity to camp onsite with the option for the bride and groom to occupy the honeymoon yurt, furnished with all the required extras to make for a comfy & luxurious stay. Guests can choose to hire one of our bell tents or simply bring their own. The wedding marquees at Wilkswood are built to accommodate your guest numbers and always include water, electricity and not forgetting camping and car parking. You don’t need to worry about a thing. The view couldn’t be more breath taking as the venue overlooks the stunning rolling hills of Purbeck whilst being at the height of the tree top canopy. Spotting the steam train go past is the icing on the cake. All of this makes for some truly wonderful photographs to capture your special day. Working together with our team, we can help you create your dream wedding, imparting our knowledge and experience as well as recommended suppliers for all aspects of your day.

Included in our packages are the Marquee, with catering space, bar, all furniture, dance floor, lighting, flooring and more. The venue is yours exclusively which means you can allow your guests to camp onsite at no extra cost and there is ample car parking facilities. We do not charge corkage!
One of our wedding planners will help you from the time you book, through-out the journey, and be there on the day to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Some packages include extra benefits and decor options. To give you a few examples these are things such as welcome drinks, table wine and toast drinks. Festival flags, outside furniture, lighting, our bride and groom bell tent, and more.
