What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number one tip is always be clear on your numbers! I can never stress that enough when planning someone's big day, it's imperative to know how many guests are attending throughout the different parts of the day so you as the couple can budget for the different elements. From small things such as ordering table favours to wedding breakfast numbers.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I would say my favourite personal touch would be when guests name their tables after places they have visited. It's such a nice touch and illustrates to guests the history of their relationship and is also nice for me as a wedding planner to learn more about the couple.

Where’s the best photo spot at Walker Art Gallery?
Definitely our stunning twin grand staircase. Those high ceilings, the masterpieces of art adorning the walls, and the mahogany banisters really make for such an incredible image.

What’s your favourite canapé?
If I had to pick one it would be the basil pesto and mozzarella arancini. It's a firm favourite of mine and a crowd pleaser too. Who doesn't love mozzarella?
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
I always enjoy the chips cones at 10pm, and after a few too many proseccos, the guests seem to love them too! We have all sorts of midnight treat requests in the past from tea and toast to lobster and crayfish rolls!
What is Walker Art Gallery most unique feature?
I would say for guests having the option to dine in some of our galleries is just incredible. Having the opportunity to have a wedding breakfast in the company of some of the world's masterpieces, is an experience many guests will never forget.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We work magic every day! We are able to turn around gallery spaces into event spaces, and then back again to open at 10am the next day as usual - with only a few sprinkles of confetti left over. It's such a privilege for the team to go into some of the most amazing spaces our city has to offer and throw incredible events for our clients. Because many of our clients grew up coming to our museum, it has a special place in their hearts. Memories are everywhere. It's always something to remember when you are de-rigging into the early hours of the morning for the next day's visitors - what we do, really matters to people.
