Tullyveery House is an exclusive and intimate wedding venue nestled in the rolling drumlins of County Down, convenient to Belfast. The family-owned Georgian House and Victorian courtyard area surrounded by mature private grounds and gardens provide a stunning rural backdrop.
Boasting multiple rooms for wedding receptions, we provide a blank canvas for you to have the freedom to work with your preferred suppliers to shape every aspect of your day. We provide access to the venue from lunch time the day before your wedding - providing time for you and your suppliers to come and set everything up, ensuring you go to bed the night before your wedding knowing everything is as you want it and there will be no stress on the morning of your wedding. We also provide access until lunch time the day after your wedding, allowing you to come back relaxed and rested in the morning to collect your items.
Hosting one event per day, Tullyveery offers a very different experience compared to a traditional hotel wedding reception. The venue, grounds and our staff are devoted to you and your day. We offer a range of eight locations for your ceremony to be hosted on site, both indoors and outdoors. We are fully licenced by the Newry, Mourne and Down Council to hold civil wedding and partnership ceremonies.
Our experienced family-lead team will ensure every detail is tailor made to your exact requirements by working closely with you in the lead up to, and on, the day which allows you to relax and celebrate knowing everything will go perfectly.

At Tullyveery we don't like to rush weddings, hence why we give you access the day before and day after as standard. It is important to us to get to know you and ensure your day is perfect.

Although we have standard prices for hosting wedding receptions and ceremonies, we will of course adjust these appropriately if you are planning an intimate event or have specific requirements for you day. The price range given is for the Courtyard options - if you would like to make use of our marquee site (for numbers >137) then this would be a bespoke pricing based on the exact requirements.

Tullyveery House is the most special place.From the moment we first visited and met with Charlie, we knew this is where we wanted to have our wedding reception. Other venues we had visited felt scheduled and as though the staff showing us around were really trying to sell it to us, Tullyveery and the entire team are different. Charlie took time to chat and get to know us whilst showing us around his family home and estate, we appreciated the sense of family rather than business and felt more like friends than customers. Tullyveery House and the team set the tone for our entire day and so many of our guests picked up on this and mentioned it to us. At Tullyveery, they ensure you’re able to have the day before and the day after your wedding to set up and set down the venue, making sure everything is exactly how you imagine, this was very important to us and something other venues couldn’t promise. On the run up to our day, Charlie and Gwen were always on hand to answer any of our silly questions (no matter the time of day), nothing ever felt too much trouble. On our big day, everything ran smoothly thanks to the lovely Gwen and her team and Daniel and I were able to relax and enjoy every second of it. The house itself is beautiful and the gardens, courtyard, lake, view of the Mournes are just incredible. The entire team at Tullyveery are wonderful, it is evident that they love what they do and they really go above and beyond for their couples. Living close by it is a really special place for us. Had it been wet though we knew that there were poor weather options and that the team at Tullyveery could execute changes without a scene at a moments notice. Trusting the staff and organisation that goes on behind the scenes allowed us to relax and thoroughly enjoy our day . Nothing was too much trouble and our guests raved about it. We have been lucky to be wedding guests also at Tullyveery and enjoyed the same top class treatment from this exquisite venue and team.We got married on 09.05.2015 and had the most glorious day weather wise allowing us to get married in the walled garden at Tullyveery. Regardless of the stunning backdrop and awesome grounds Tullyveery possesses I think the team are the real jewel in the crown. We had a simply wonderful time and my only regret is that we can only do it once.This place, to me is magical.
