Special mention to Arlene the General Manager who looked after us with the utmost care to every detail. The price compared favourably with other venues. The food was good though perhaps smaller portions would have been better. I was also impressed with Graham, Rodney and Craig who all looked after us. All of the staff were amazing and I can't fault anything. We stayed in the Mackenzie Suite which is an apartment with 3 bedrooms and a spacious living room. It was perfect for getting the bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls etc. Plenty of room and 3 bathrooms. We had our hairdresser come too and we had enough space for everything. The housemaid had a bit of a mess to tidy up and did such a great job. We filled probably 70 percent of the hotel but the function rooms are well away from the bedrooms so we were pleased we were able to feel we weren't disturbing the other guests. Arlene was very helpful in agreeing to us decorating the rooms the day before the wedding thank you so much for everything. From the waitress to the chef I can not fault a thing.
