We had the most amazing wedding day here in 2019, and we still look back on it with so many happy memories. From start to finish, everything was beautifully organised, the staff were fantastic, and the whole day felt relaxed, personal, and truly special. The venue itself is stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our photos. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate with our family and friends. We loved it so much that we’ve already recommended it to our daughter, who is planning to get married here in 2028. That says everything about how much confidence we have in this venue. It's was our second time staying here, the hotel was very clean and tidy, old buildings but beautiful. Me and my partner enjoyed our stay. Nothing was any trouble for the staff. The staff were all amazing and friendly. The restaurant was very well done out and the food was amazing. Restaurant staff were all hands on. The spa itself is very relaxing just what I wanted. Gorgeous out of the way location. Character hotel set in enchanting grounds waiting to be explored. The woodland floor was carpeted with daffodils and there were lambs in the surrounding fields. On arrival, we were greeted by lovely, friendly reception team who showed us around and made us very welcome. Our room was a wonderful spacious four poster with a large bathroom, we had a warm and comfortable night. The staff are a great credit to the hotel, really warm & welcoming. Special mention to Jocelyn in Noelle"s bar, she was very friendly & helpful. The staff in the restaurant were lovely too. Loved the quirkiness of the hotel, it has a unique charm. Set in beautiful grounds & has a lovely spa, with a good sized swimming pool, with the addition of a steam room & sauna. Would stay again! We originally booked our wedding at The Valley, which I believe is the sister property to Tre-Ysgawen Hall. We were contacted to move our wedding to Tre-Ysgawen as part of an overhaul to stop weddings at the Valley and honestly, it felt like it was meant to be! The ceremony was beautiful, everything ran so smoothly, and the team made us feel so special. We would spend more on the overall experience rather than the little extras. A great photographer (perhaps adding a videographer to capture the entire day naturally), upgraded food and drink options and plenty of time celebrating with our favourite people are what make a wedding truly unforgettable.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

One of the best places for a picture is nestle within the gardens, with the beautiful trees and greenery creating a timeless backdrop. Golden hour adds the perfect finish touch, giving your photographs a warm, romantic glow.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Our most famous wedding is probably that of David Essex in 2010. In respect to famous guest the list is pretty extensive including Demi Moore, Alicia Keyes, JLS, Denise Walsh and Simon Gregson. We have also had the pleasure of accommodating the Top Gear film crew.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Tough one... Crispy hash browns topped with BBQ pulled pork and crispy onions or our smoked salmon and dill cream cheese roulade with toasted crostini.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

From our perspective as a team come midnight we are most happy when we can step back a little and evaluate the successes of the day. For us our midnight reward is seeing joyous, satisfied faces upon bride and groom, friends and family alike, expressions which let us know we have completed our remit as required. Our treat is knowing we delivered a stunning day for you and your guests, the day for which we planned delivered as planned.

Tre-Ysgawen's most unique feature is Tre-Ysgawen. It is a property genuinely unique in its splendor, if you aren't aware of what it is we offer we would greatly encourage you to come and find out.... You will not be disappointed.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

As a Management team we are proud of the reputation we have developed over several decades. This isn't due to one aspect of business, it is down to the consistent delivery on promise and expectation at all levels from all departments.
